Kara and Kyle had a fun and casual wedding at the Lemp Mansion in November, and it beautifully matched their personalities. The day was cloudy and rainy, but it didn’t damper the joy from the day. The couple’s hyper and super adorable Jack Russell Terrier kept the energy up and make us laugh during the day. And their love for each other was such a beautiful sight to witness.
I love their story. They met through a mutual friend. Kyle actually stole Kara’s number out of their friend’s phone and asked her out. They became the best of friends who have been together seven years. Their honeymoon was their first vacation together – how special is that!
Kara chose the wedding colors of slate blue, cranberry red, and copper to bring out the elegance of their day. I thought their wedding invitations were so elegant in blue, and her engagement ring was spectacular.
We started the day getting ready at beautiful Magnolia Hotel in downtown St. Louis, followed by portraits in front of the Old Post Office, and in the lobby and on terrace of the Lemp Grand Hall. Their wedding ceremony and reception was held on the patio on the Lemp Mansion with tents protecting the guests from the rain. It was a lovely day!
