Weddings don't get any more amazing than this! Shelby and Andrew had a magnificent and drop-dead gorgeous Art Deco-inspired wedding in St. Louis last fall, and it was spectacular. I mean, so cool! As much as I love photographing classic weddings, I love it when the wedding design is so unique and cool like this one! Shelby and Andrew designed an art-deco inspired wedding in tones of green, gold, and black, and it couldn't have been more timeless and elegant.
The couple lives in California, so they wanted to incorporate Cali vibes to the beauty of St. Louis. So the 1930s Old Hollywood theme fit perfectly with their wedding vision. They were married at the Jewel Box in Forest Park, which was so perfect with its art deco greenhouse design, and the Chase Park Plaza, where they held their reception, has an old Hollywood glam feel to it, so it fit perfectly with what they were envisioning for their amazing day.
The entire design of their wedding came out of Shelby's creativity and expertise. She's a designer, so she created a custom monogram and designed the invitation suite, the signage, all the favors. All the vintage glassware that was used in the centerpieces and the decor at the Chase Park Plaza was thrifted and collected for over a year. Shelby's uncle laser-cut a custom inset for the bar cart, and he also made the monogram cake topper. Shelby and Andrew ordered all their flowers and greenery from a wholesaler, and they arranged the centerpieces and bouquets themselves. The result was so gorgeous!
I'm in awe at the beauty of this amazing wedding. This was such a gorgeous day, and I am so honored to be part of it!
