Out of all the weddings I’ve shot this fall, Dana and Ryan’s Tennessee wedding at Arrington Vineyards at the Stone House is one of my favorites. Arrington Vineyards has a warm place in my heart – it’s the place where I shot my first wedding (as a professional photographer) in August 2015, and now 100+ weddings later, it’s still one of my favorite venues. And this beautiful Tennessee vineyard doesn’t disappoint.
Dana and Ryan have the most romantic love story. They met on a Saturday night in the East Village in New York City. Ryan walked to the bar to meet a friend, Peter, who was sitting there talking to Dana and her friend Rachel. Dana and Ryan hit it off, and at the end of the night, Dana accidentally entered the wrong number on Ryan’s phone … she made a mistake, and Ryan thought he’d been rejected. But fate has a way of bringing true loves back together. Weeks later, Dana and Rachel reconnected with Peter on Instagram, and Peter forwarded Dana’s number to Ryan. Our future bride and groom went on their first date in the West Village and fell in love over the fall. By the next summer, they moved in together. Ryan proposed in Central Park, and she said yes.
Isn’t that the most romantic love story? Their story deserves its own sappy romance movie. I’d totally buy a ticket!
Dana and Ryan are the most gorgeous couple. They seriously look like models. Dana is elegant and when she put on her wedding dress, she wowed the entire room. She totally could be a Pronovias model if she wanted. She’s just so stunning!
I loved every part of their wedding day. The ceremony decor was so pretty. Gorgeous florals on top of wine barrels. Roses strewn on the ground. A floral arch waiting for two people very much in love. This was an amazing day!
