Tennessee is absolutely gorgeous, especially in the spring, summer, and fall. From the Great Smoky Mountains to the parks, streams, and rivers that dot the landscape of Tennessee, it's the perfect state to elope in. There are so many parks and national forests that provide a stunning location for your elopement.
This is not a comprehensive guide for eloping in Tennessee, but I hope it helps you when you start planning your Tennessee elopement. Some of these wedding venues, I've photographed before and I know first hand that they're gorgeous settings for your elopement.
Nashville and Chattanooga are probably the two major cities in Tennessee that offer the best views and have awesome venues for elopements. Chattanooga is scenic and Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls are right there. Nashville offers a more urban location with downtown Nashville, Printer's Row, and Pedestrian Bridge. There are also beautiful parks in Nashville, like Percy and Edwin Warner Parks, as well as Centennial Park.
If you're planning to have a Gatlinburg elopement, congrats! Gatlinburg, TN is seriously gorgeous and there are many mansions and cabins that you can rent for an adventurous elopement. The Great Smoky Mountains are also right there, and they make for the most picturesque elopement photos.
Here's my list of awesome places for your Tennessee elopement.
