Meredith and Alex were married on a rainy afternoon last May. They married at West End United Methodist Church in Nashville with a fun-filled reception at Cheekwood Botanical Garden's Frist Learning Center. Despite the gloomy weather, everyone was so bright and cheerful and happy, and it made this Nashville wedding day such a blast!
I was actually 38 weeks pregnant (9 months) when I shot this wedding along with my husband (my second shooter) and an assistant photographer (to help me when I needed a break). I gave birth three days later, so this wedding was definitely memorable.
One of the best parts about this wedding was the reception. It's not every wedding reception where guests laughed the ENTIRE time during toasts, and literally every single guest danced the night away. There was so much fun that was had. So much to photograph. There was a live band, too. This wedding day was AMAZING! SO. MUCH. FUN!
