Madeline and Charlie had a beautiful summer wedding at Covenant Presbyterian Church in St. Louis last July, photographed by Joshua, my associate photographer and husband. This celebration of love was Christ-centered, and you felt that Christian love in their wedding ceremony at the church. Josh said it was amazing in so many ways.
One of my favorite moments from this wedding day was the groom and groomsmen huddled together in prayer before the ceremony started. Madeline and Charlie decides not to have a first look – they wanted to see each other for the first time at the alter, but Madeline’s first look with her father was so sweet. Both had tears in their eyes, and it was a beautiful, special moment.
It was a blazing hot day in July, so the couple decided to forgo the traditional outside portraits. They captured family photos, and wedding party portraits inside the church, and only stepped outside for bride and groom photos for a few minutes in the shade.
Their reception was at the Country Club of St. Albans was also full of so much laughter and joy! Though Josh only stayed for a few hours at the reception, it was such a fun party!
Enjoy the highlights of this amazing day!
