Taylor and Alan had a laidback and low-key backyard wedding at their family friend's property in Festus, Missouri. Their friends' house and property had a foresty vibe, back in the woods with lots of trees and greenery. They had the most lovely book nook/library hallway that I absolutely loved and it made for great bridal portraits of Taylor in her gorgeous wedding dress.
Although it was an overcast, kind of dark day in early September, their outdoor ceremony and reception had a woodsy and laidback fun vibe. They didn't have a first look, but Taylor had such a fun first look with the groomsmen, in which she brought them a case of beer! So fun! It was especially fun to cover Taylor up with a bed sheet so no guests would see her before the wedding, and then we took a golf cart to a pretty remote area of the property for portraits of her and the bridesmaids.
All the guests had the best time. They served the best Mexican food at the reception, courtesy of Tequilas Mexican Restaurant (Columbia) and it was so delicious! Everyone danced the night away, and it was such a blast!
What a wonderful wedding day! Congratulations to Taylor and Alan.
