Engagement sessions are such perfect opportunities for camera-shy grooms to practice smiling for the camera. Kate wanted Shane to get some practice before their big day, so we headed out to Forest Park for their summer engagement session. The dandelions were in bloom, and it was a magical evening in May. I love all of these beautiful images!
Kate was nervous that we’d have to tell Shane to smile, but whenever he looked at her, you could just tell how much he loved her. He glanced at her, and he just smiled. It was so sweet, and for a camera-shy guy, I could tell how he loved her.
We started at the Grand Basin at Forest Park facing Art Hill but walked around the area for some pretty scenic portraits. I love the dandelion field that we stumbled on by accident. It made for some really romantic moments. I just love, love, love these images! Can’t wait for their wedding in November!
