There are some engagement sessions where everything falls into place perfectly – the soft light, a beautiful couple, and the best weather. Lauren and Clark’s engagement session at Centennial Park during golden hour (the hour before sunset) was absolutely perfect. They are the cutest couple ever and I just loved spending time with them!
I first met Lauren at The Painted Cupcake, a bakery in Nashville that specializes in macarons and cupcakes. Her mom owns the bakery, and they’ll be making my custom wedding cake when I get married on 8.18.18. If you’re in Nashville, you have to stop by. It’s the most adorable shop – lots of pinks, picnic tables and chairs, china stacked up in colorful wardrobes. It’s like stepping into an Alice in the Wonderland kind of world. I just love it!
During my visit to her mom’s bakery, Lauren told me she was engaged and looking for a wedding photographer. We followed each other on Instagram. It turned out that Lauren’s fiance, Clark, was looking for an engagement photographer. He saw she liked my posts on Instagram, and he contacted me to shoot a surprise engagement session for Lauren. HOW SWEET IS THAT?
I just love this couple! They are just the nicest people! Clark brought out his red motorcycle for some photos at the end of our session, and I’m just loving these images! I love the soft, romantic light of golden hour as well!
