Sydney and Bernardo are such a playful and fun couple, and their June wedding was seriously SO MUCH fun! From the hilarious bridesmaids and groomsmen in their wedding party to the musical performances during their reception, this wedding at the Green Door Gourmet in Nashville was such a delight to photograph and so entertaining!
On Sydney and Bernardo’s wedding day, their ceremony was supposed to be outdoors, but it was too hot and humid and the sky was overcast with a forecast of rain. They decided to move the festivities indoors. The Green Door Gourmet offers lovely wood walls, very similar to a barn look with string lights and amble natural light from their windows. Their wedding had an organic feel to it, and of course, we had to go outdoors for portraits. Lots of greenery and pretty scenery on a very hot summer day!
I loved their non-traditional wedding party. We had a groomsmaid, and bridesmen. Sydney changed into a flowy, lightweight reception dress for the dancing part of the night – it was so hot in Nashville this past June – and she totally rocked it! She was stunning throughout the entire day. Bernardo couldn’t stop kissing her! It was so sweet!
