Winter weddings are so special to me. My brides are willing to brave the ice and cold to capture some gorgeous natural light outside, and I love the unique decorations that they chose in their decor.
Kate and Tanner had a beautiful winter wedding in the beginning of January of 2018 at the Old Stone Chapel in St. Charles, Missouri. The Christmas trees were still up in the heart of St. Charles, and Kate’s bridesmaids dresses were rich red, and they complimented the holiday season very well. I loved the nighttime portraits that we shot in downtown St. Charles after their evening wedding ceremony.
The highlight of the day was Tanner’s reaction when he saw Kate for the first time. He cried and he was in awe of her beauty. It’s reactions like that which make my heart flutter. I just love capturing genuine love, and it doesn’t get more real than that!
It was such a special day, and such a beautiful couple. Enjoy these beautiful images of their wedding day!
