Chloe and Adam had an amazing February wedding at Hermann Hill Weddings and Events in Hermann, Missouri. This was my first time photographing at Hermann Hill, and it didn't disappoint. This Missouri wedding venue sits atop a bluff on the Missouri River, with beautiful views of the water.
I adora Chloe and Adam! We had the most amazing time at their engagement session last summer at Klondike Park, and their wedding was even more special! Chloe was a bridesmaid at a wedding that I photographed four years ago, and I was so honored that she remembered me and chose me to be her wedding photographer. This was a Missouri wedding day for the books. A classic, romantic day with plenty of time for portraits, and beautiful details of the space.
Chloe didn't want the putting on the wedding dress photographed, so we captured getting ready with the final make-up touches, and fun photos with the bridesmaid (and best brides man) in their cute embroidered shirts. Chloe and Adam's first look was also very special, as they read private vows to one another.
Although it was the middle of winter, and there were no leaves in the trees and no shade anywhere to be found, we were able to capture lovely portraits at the little chapel at the top of the hill. We also took family photos outside before the ceremony, which I love because we were able to capture those in natural light (which rarely happens on a wedding day.)
Their wedding ceremony inside Hermann Hill was just so lovely. Guests toasted with wine after their first kiss, and guests enjoyed the most wonderful reception with lots of dancing, a photo booth, and plenty of fun! I loved the sunset portraits we were able to capture during cocktail hour, and the nighttime photos before I left for the night were also so special to me!
