I am so excited to share Alyssa and Zac's wedding day with you! They had a picture perfect Innsbrook Resort wedding. A perfect blend of autumn colors - I loved the burnt orange napkins and fall touches from their reception decor - and classic and elegant wedding vibes.
Innsbrook Resort is a gorgeous wedding venue located an hour away from St. Louis, and it's so picturesque and scenic. I photographed an intimate elopement there last year during the pandemic, so it was very exciting to get to come back and photograph a full wedding day at this beautiful property!
We started the day with getting ready, followed by a first look with the bridesmaids, Alyssa's dad, and a first look with Zac. The bride and groom read private vows to each other (they didn't read custom vows during the ceremony, so these were just between the two of them, and it was a very sweet moment!). We took bride and groom portraits near the Lake, before heading up for wedding party photos and some family photos.
Their outdoor ceremony at Innsbrook Center Aspen Center's Lake Stage. It had beautiful views of the glittering lake. Zac walked their dog down the aisle, and he was a good pup throughout the ceremony. I love getting to photograph weddings with dogs! It's so much fun! (I'm a huge animal lover).
During cocktail hour, I pulled Alyssa and Zac aside for some sunset portraits, which were gorgeous! If you have time, definitely opt for sunset bride and groom portraits. I love the golden hues of these. So romantic!
Their wedding reception was so fun! The speeches were hilarious and got everyone cracking up, and the dance floor was packed! Such a fun wedding day!
