Lee and Kathleen's Lafayette Square Park Engagement session was so special to me. Lee was one of the first friends I made when I moved to St. Louis in 2012, and we've been through thick and thin together, through bad boyfriends and crazy ex-girlfriends. I was so excited when he met Kathleen in 2020, and somehow they survived the pandemic together and fell madly in love through it. I've never met anyone that was as compatible for my friend as Kathleen. They are like peanut butter and jelly, just a perfect match.
When Lee asked me to photograph his surprise proposal (which Kathleen later suspected was happening), I was super excited! We ended up photographing their proposal and engagement session right before Halloween, and we were lucky enough to find the coolest house across the street from Lafayette Park with pumpkin decorations and it was perfect. Kathleen wore a striking red dress, and Lee looked dapper in his black suit.
I love this session for so many reasons, but also all the leaves were changing at Lafayette Square Park, so the colors for this St. Louis engagement session were simply amazing! Enjoy some of my favorites from their Lafayette Square Park Engagement Session.
