I absolutely LOVED photographing Alex and Alexis' wedding at Lumen St. Louis. This wedding venue has an industrial chic, modern feel that are perfect for this couple.
Alex and Alexis first met in high school and their love has survived and thrived for over a decade, through many changes and challenges, including long distance. They now live together in Seattle, but decided to get married in St. Louis, closer to their family.
I loved all the amazing and sweet moments of this wedding day, including their adorable dog. Their dog got his own little suit, and he got lots of loving from everyone on his parents' wedding day. Alexis is also very close to her grandmother, and I loved capturing their special relationship. My grandparents were very important to me, so I am so thankful that Alexis' grandmother was able to be a big part of your wedding day. My favorite part of the day probably has to be when her grandmother cried during the first look, telling Alexis how beautiful she was. Alexis was indeed a beautiful bride!
We had lots of extra time for portraits, so we traveled downtown to the Arch grounds, before heading to Forest Park to take more wedding party and bride and groom photos. Then we headed to Lumen for a beautiful wedding ceremony and fun-filled reception. It was such an amazing event, and a picture perfect summer wedding. So very pretty!
