Marriott St Louis Grand Hotel Statler Ballroom Wedding

Marriott St. Louis Grand – Statler Ballroom Wedding: Bridget and Jay

I loved getting to photograph this Statler Ballroom wedding at the Marriott St. Louis Grand Hotel for Bridget and Jay! It was such a special night for the most wonderful couple! I loved all the beautiful aspects of this April wedding day, from the delicate and bright color palette of the flowers to the bow on Bridget's shoes, and I also loved how flowy her dress was when she twirled.

We captured getting ready in their respective hotel rooms, followed by a first look with Bridget's dad, and then Bridget and Jay in the Statler Ballroom. We headed over to the Old Courthouse/Library area for a few portraits outside, but it was a bit hot and humid, so we took most of our portraits inside the Statler Ballroom. This St. Louis wedding venue is seriously so pretty!

Bridget and Jay love musicals and Broadway, so their wedding invitation and program guide for the day was designed to resemble a Broadway play brochure. It was so creative, and so much fun! Probably my favorite decoration were the matching bride and groom Pikachu's at the gaming station during the reception. I think all their guests had such an amazing time at this special wedding! Their cake toppers were Funko Pops, designed to look like them. The reception vibe was "elevated prom," and it felt very elegant.

Congratulations to Bridget and Jay!
