This beautiful St. Louis wedding at the McDonnell Center at River Camp at the St. Louis Zoo couldn't have been more lovely and sweet. Kristina and Jimmy were married outside on the patio of the Zoo's McDonnell Center with their closest friends and family in attendance (there were maybe 30 guests). You could hear the rush of water behind them, and it was just lovely.
Like many of my 2020 couples, COVID-19 put a wrench in Kristina and Jimmy's plans. They originally planned a much larger wedding, which they postponed until next year. Kristina really wanted her grandparents (her Oma and Opa) to attend her wedding, so they chose to scale down their guest count and found a new venue at the last minute. The McDonnell Center at River Camp at the Saint Louis Zoo was perfect for this intimate wedding. And even though they had a first look and portraits before their wedding ceremony, there were still lots of happy tears shed during their ceremony and it was magical to photograph.
Forest Park couldn't have been a prettier setting for their portraits beforehand.
Most of my St. Louis weddings start with getting ready photos, but Kristina and Jimmy decided to start with their First Look at Forest Park. The light couldn't have been prettier. It was a beautiful sunny day with the softest, golden light. It was a wedding photographer's dream. I loved being the Saint Louis wedding photographer for Jimmy and Kristina's big day!
These are some of my favorite moments from their 2020 STL wedding!
