Destination weddings make me so happy, and I feel so honored when I'm asked to travel to photograph a couple's special day. For Christine and Vicente's wedding day, Josh and I travelled to sunny Miami, FL to photograph their wedding at Thalatta Estate at the Village of Palmetto Bay.
This Miami wedding venue is probably the prettiest venue I've shot at. With a beautiful scene of the shoreline and local Florida flora and fauna, Thalatta Estate was so gorgeous. Josh and I arrived a day early to scope out the venue, and we were amazed at the wildlife we saw. There were beautiful birds flying around, and we even saw a couple of iguana in their natural habit. It was way too cool, and made me so psyched for this wedding day.
Christine and Vicente's destination wedding in Miami was SERIOUSLY THE BEST. This was a family affair with so much love from both the bride and groom's parents. Vicente's dad helped him get ready, and you could just see how proud he was of his son. His mom cried happy tears, and it was the sweetest to capture. Christine's mom was her maid of honor and helped her with every part of the day. I loved seeing how close they both were to their parents. This couple are genuinely the nicest, sweetest people you'll ever meet!
There were so many special moments from this day. Christine and Vicente gifted both of their parents with special gifts that brought tears to everyone's eyes. That was the highlight of the day - the emotions of that were just so sweet to capture! I was so thankful that we got to take sunset portraits. It was SO pretty; definitely my favorite part of the wedding day!
