Over the Christmas break, I had the chance to photograph the Scheenstra family. This Nashville extended family session included grandparents, their children and spouses and grandkids. Everyone lives in various parts of the world - from Africa to Florida and Michigan and everywhere in between. They gather together for Christmas, and they chose to spend the holiday season in Nashville, TN.
This family is so beautiful with so many smiling faces. Each family was unique, and it was fun to try to get the kids to smile for photos. One of the daughters, Madi, reached out to me six months before our scheduled shoot date to arrange this, and I'm so glad she did. This really was such a fun session!
