I love capturing family sessions, and this Nashville family session with the Duncan's was one of my favorites this past fall. I met them at a Nashville country club, where they are members, on a beautiful November afternoon, just as the sun was setting.
The Duncans are a beautiful family with three adorable and active children - all under five. We spent most of our session chasing their kids, trying to get them to smile. One of the boys hated photos and hated to smile (the oldest), so there was a lot of tickling, throwing in the air, and chasing. During our one hour photo shoot, all of the kids had tantrums at different times. As a mom myself, I kind of loved the crying photos. They truly represent childhood, and I'm so happy with these beautiful images. They reflect the personalities of these children, and they're a wonderful memory of childhood that Cristina (the mom) will have for years to come.
Cristina actually used these photos for her Christmas card, and I absolutely loved them! This was one of my favorite Nashville family sessions in 2019, and you'll see why below.
