Wedding season is winding down, and portrait season is ramping up. It’s the time to book your fall family session – just in time for the holidays. Contact me and book today! I still have slots open for December, and limited availability for November.
I had such a fun time shooting family portraits this past weekend for the Schaffer family. This was a beautiful young family, and they had the most adorable little girls. It was a cloudy afternoon, but the light was just perfect. I heart photographing on cloudy, overcast days. The light is even – no shadows or bright areas on the face, and the result is just gorgeous.
We shot the session at England Park, a small neighborhood part in West Nashville, full of trees, benches and trails.
The older daughter had a fun time, smiling for the cameras. She looked like a pretty princess with the flower in her hair and her fluffy pink gown. How gorgeous is she?!
She was joined by her 11-month-old sister. Mom and Dad rang a little bell for her to look at the camera. It was a genius idea, and her expressions are priceless. Just look at how delighted she is at the bell, and her many faces – so stinkin’ cute! (And I loved seeing her two little bottom teeth. So cute! I love babies!)
A sweet kiss for the camera.
The sweet princess smiled and twirled for the camera, as she stood in front of some very pretty greenery. Some of it was dead, since it is November, but it created a very rustic fashion look that I just adore.
We found a bench, and the girls sat down for a few photos.
Look at the baby’s expressions! I just love her smile!
While Mom put on her make-up, we took a few photos with Dad.
The family wanted some individual shots of the baby, so we placed her on the ground, ran the bell, and the portraits are just priceless. I just love her little expressions! They are just so adorable!
Sister made funny faces to the baby, so she would smile.
We had an outfit change, and everyone changed into more casual outfits.
Mom joined us, and we took lovely family portraits. The kids were pretty wriggly, but we managed to capture some beautiful shots and various poses. I just adore this family!
The baby has the funniest faces! Look at her expression change from nonchalance to delight to pure joy!
And finally, some individual shots of mom with her two girls!
We ended the session with taking some beautiful shots of Mom and Dad. You could just tell how much they love each other! It was very sweet to witness. Did I mention that I love love?
The kids inherited their good looks from mom and dad!
The baby ate crackers on the ground, and I couldn’t help but snap a few photos. Her sweet face! So cute!
I had an amazing time capturing these images. Looking forward to meeting you and your family. Now booking fall family sessions. Contact me at info@zoelifephotography.com for more information on rates and current specials!
