Sarah and Clay first met at a bar and hit it off right away. They became instant best friends, and Clay became a wonderful father to Sarah’s two older children. Now some years later, they have the cutest precocious little boy together. They have a lovely blended family, and I was so excited to photograph their wedding.
Their wedding ceremony and reception were at Neo on Locust in St. Louis. Sarah loves the shabby chic look, so their decorations mirror her style. I loved the hues of blush and gold that Sarah incorporated into their day, and the DIY centerpieces.

Sarah’s Madison James wedding dress and Mischka Badgley shoes went together perfectly, and transformed Sarah into a radiant princess.
Sarah and Clay’s son was absolutely adorable!
We began the day at Neo on Locust, where Sarah got ready in the small bridal room. We were surrounded with so many adorable babies and nieces and nephews!
Before the ceremony, we had their first look at Neo on Locust.
Next, we went to Forest Park to snap some portraits near the Jewel Box. It was a super sunny day, but not too hot as to be uncomfortable.
After the portraits, we went back to Neo on Locust for the wedding ceremony.
