Victoria and Joell had a beautiful wedding day in St. Charles, MO at the Old Stone Chapel and Le Belle Coeur. It was a perfect August wedding day, even in the middle of the 2020 COVID pandemic. There was so much love and beauty, and it was such a joy to capture it.
I've shot many Old Stone Chapel weddings in my career, and I always love going back to shoot at this St. Charles wedding venue.
As with most of my 2020 weddings, masks are a fashion statement this year. I loved how the mothers and grandmothers wore beautiful masks that matched their dresses. Everyone at the ceremony wore masks, and the bride and groom provided pink and blue masks (which matched their wedding colors) to guests who didn't bring one. There was even masks during some of the dancing. I loved that everyone tried to be as safe as possible, all while enjoying a beautiful wedding day!
This Old Stone Chapel wedding ceremony was so sweet. Victoria wrote her vows in a cute vow book, and Joell didn't write down any vows, but he spoke his vows from the heart. He spoke about they first met, and how he knew she was the one. SO SO ROMANTIC and SO SWEET.
Victoria's dress was amazing with the prettiest layers, and I loved having her twirl in it. It twirled so well. Joell's suit had a very cool texture to it, and it matched his fun and playful personality.
Other great moments that I loved from their Old Stone Chapel wedding - their little baby girl was the flower girl, and she was ADORABLE! These two were high school sweethearts and it was wonderful to capture the celebration of their love.
