I am so excited to share Logan and Megan's River City Casino and Hotel wedding from this past June. This was a special wedding for me because I've been part of their engagement journey. I photographed their surprise proposal at Forest Park, so I was so excited when they chose me to be their wedding photographer and capture their very special wedding day!
There were so many special moments from this wedding day, including the couple's "first touch." (They didn't see each other, but they were able to hold hands on two opposite walls. Very sweet.) I also loved how Logan's face just lit up when he saw Megan walk down the aisle. They also had two groomsmen/friends of the couple act as the "flower men" as part of the ceremony. SO funny.
Their super fun reception at the River City Casino and Hotel's ballroom was also amazing and so much fun! I've never seen the dance floor so packed with so many guests. Almost all of their guests danced the night away, and before I left, Logan and Megan requested some direct flash nighttime portraits inside the casino. It was just such a special and amazing day!
Some special touches they included as part of their wedding day - their welcome drink was champagne with a little drink charm on the rim that says “The Bakers," and their signature drinks were named after our three dogs (who dressed up and made an appearance during the portrait part of the day at Carondelet Park.) All the florals were created by Megan’s mom and her grandma Jean including the giant arch used in the ceremony. The couple made our own welcome mirror sign.
