Some weddings are unforgettable and this Sparta, Illinois farm wedding was one of them. Chris and Emily's wedding on their farm was one of my favorites from this past fall. From the horses to the horse-drawn carriage that brought Emily to the wedding ceremony and all the details in between, this day was just so perfect. The bride and groom wore cowboy boots, and I loved the dark red of the bridesmaids dresses which was perfectly reflected in their bouquets and wedding decor. What made this way even better were Emily and Chris - two of the kindest people you'll ever meet!
Chris' two children (the ringbearer and the junior bridesmaids) added so much joy to the day. I loved the portraits we took beforehand of Emily and her daughter as they walked together in the field behind their home. The ringbearers' mullet was the talk of night. How cool is it that 80s style is becoming popular again? Very neat!
This was a more casual affair. Guests enjoyed delicious food inside Chris and Emily's barn, and everyone danced the night away. It was a really fun evening for everyone, including the two photographers.
