Sometimes fate (and your favorite store at the mall) helps you find your soul mate. That's what happened with Becca and Mike! I love their love story. It all started with Mike's brother, Tommy. He was working at Express, one of Becca's favorite clothing stores, where she shops a lot. One day, Tommy asked Becca if she'd be interested in going out on a date with his brother, Mike, who had just moved back from Kansas.
Becca, being a MU alum, was hesitant, and once she found out that Mike had just graduated from KU, that was a no go. (School rivalries!) She told Tommy no and left the store. A week later, Tommy invited Becca to go to brunch with him and his friends. To her surprise, Tommy invited Mike. He sat them next to each other, and they hit it off immediately. The rest is history!
They were married at the St. Charles Convention Center last September, and it was an absolutely gorgeous affair. I loved photographing their beautiful wedding. Even though it was a cloudy and rainy day, their love for one another kept them smiling and happy throughout.
Becca chose the wedding colors of burgundy, gold, navy, and blush to accent her decor. I loved the rich burgundy bridesmaids dresses she chose for her girls; they matched perfectly with their matching bouquets. Becca's white bouquet was elegant and added a nice pop of color to the wedding party!
The St. Charles Convention Center offered a beautiful space for their ceremony and reception. I loved the ballroom and the reception design Becca chose. Each table was decorated with tall vases overflowing with the most beautiful flowers and candles. Their cake was amazing. I love, love, loved the floral design from this wedding! What an amazing day!
