Last summer, I had the opportunity to photograph my first Greek Orthodox wedding, and it was seriously the coolest experience ever! Gabi and Chris, thank you for the opportunity to capture your beautiful day!
Gabi and Chris had a small, intimate wedding with just their closest family and friends with 30 people in total. They married at St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Swansea, Illinois in a traditional Greek wedding. I LOVED the traditional wedding ceremony, the crowns that you wear, and the cool tradition that you walk around the alter together in your crowns. So amazing! (I bet it's even more amazing in Greece!)
Afterwards, we captured bride and groom portraits in Forest Park (they had no bridal party). The light was just perfect!
Their family and friends celebrated with them that evening over dinner and toasts at 801 Chophouse. It was just the perfect end to an intimate summer wedding!
