Erica and Daniel's wedding at St. Henry's Catholic Church and Hermitage Golf Course in Nashville, TN was such a joyful wedding day! This is such a laidback and happy couple, and most of the day was capturing candids -- which I loved so much! Due to their busy and tight timeline, we only had about five minutes to capture bride and groom portraits, but I found a shady tree in the courtyard of St. Henry's to photograph some lovely portraits for the couple, and later, we were able to wander into the sheep field at the Hermitage Golf Course to take some a few more photos of the bride and groom.
I think the most memorable part of this wedding day was getting stranded because the golf carts we were using stopped working! But we were able to get back to the reception, and all was good 🙂
I loved getting to photograph Erica and Daniel! They are such happy people, and they were all smiles all day long. Their family and friends had such an amazing time, and it was a FUN party!
Erica requested that I recreate a cousin photo from her childhood with all her cousins in attendance, and right before the sun disappeared, we were able to do just that. Seriously the best time!
Both of these wedding venues have special significance to me. I was married at St. Henry's in 2018, and I was married by Father Mark, who also officiated this wedding. One of my early weddings was at the Hermitage Golf Course when I first started shooting weddings, so that was super special to me!
