I love photographing babies, and this St. Louis Newborn Session has my heart. Meet Baby Zander! I photographed his older sister’s newborn session two years ago, and I was so pleased to meet the newest arrival in this beautiful family.
We started the newborn session with adorable shots of the baby. I wrapped Zander in this light blue knit that I have and set him against a blanket of white. Don’t you just love the color combination? I really do!
Next, we switched it up to a dark grey background with a white wrap. It gave the a more moody newborn look.
Although you can’t tell from the photos, but Zander was awake for most of the session. I was miracously able to photograph these adorable photos when he fell asleep. He is super cute when he’s snoozing away, don’t you think?
As part of my in-home newborn photography sessions, I always like to capture the baby with the family, and if there are kids, I like to take photos of the kids in their home environment. I always find it super cute and a memory that parents will love having later on.
Zander’s three older siblings are full of life and energy, and it was hard to keep them still and smiling at the same time. But I always like a good challenge. What do you think? Did I succeed?
Enjoy some of my favorites from Zander’s newborn session. If you’re looking for a St. Louis newborn photographer, I’d love to hear from you!
