This St. Louis Zoo Wedding was amazing! Maggie and Craig are my favorite people, and they've become good friends during the two years we've known each other. We photographed their engagement session at the Grand Basin in the fall of 2019 and later their engagement party at Craig's parents house.
Originally, they were supposed to get married in November 2020, but COVID restrictions meant that their plans (like many other 2020 couples) had to be rearranged. They ended up eloping in Destin, Florida over the summer, and planned a vow renewal instead of a wedding. However, this special day was amazing! The St. Louis Zoo made for a perfect backdrop for their vow renewal/wedding celebration party.
I loved all the special details of this day - from Maggie's beautiful wedding shoes to her wedding dress and her bouquet! Plus, the jean jacket she was embroidered with her new last name! Craig's parents also embroidered a special handkerchief for her, welcoming her to their family - I loved how close Maggie is to her in-laws, and you could tell that they absolutely adore her.
Maggie and Craig couldn't be more perfect for each other. He is more serious, and she is the bubbly one. They balance each other out so well, and it was an honor and absolutely joy to photograph this St. Louis Zoo wedding at the Lakeside Cafe.
Even more special about this day - we captured their first look at the Grand Basin at Forest Park in the exact spot that Craig proposed to Maggie two years ago! They also brought along their doggies for some photos, and it was so cute. I love wedding days with pups. They make the day extra special and extra fun!
