Emily and Adam’s wedding at St. Ambrose Church on the Hill and The Franklin Room was absolutely stunning. Though it was cold and drizzly outside, everything about their special day was amazing. I loved Emily’s bouquet, filled with so much color and elegance; I just couldn’t stop taking photos of it. Her mermaid wedding dress was also absolutely gorgeous. I love off-shoulder dresses; there’s just something very romantic about them. I also loved her wedding colors – navy with accents of gold, burnt orange, and green. It was absolutely perfect for a November wedding.
The couple met each other while they were neighbors on the Hill during graduate school, and as they spent more time together, the sparks flew and they fell deeply, hopelessly in love. Four years later, Adam proposed while they were on vacation in Mexico.
We started their wedding day in two locations. Emily and the girls were at a hotel, while Adam and the guys got ready at home. Later, my second shooter and I reunited at St. Ambrose Church on the Hill for Emily and Adam’s beautiful wedding ceremony. St. Ambrose is absolutely gorgeous, and such a beautiful location for a wedding! We went to Forest Park for portraits, and then headed over to the gorgeous Franklin Room for a fun-filled reception.
