The Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis Wedding: Stephanie and Brent

Stephanie and Brent's wedding at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in St. Louis was an intimate affair with just their closest friends and family. Originally, they were planning an elopement, but then it turned into a slightly larger wedding celebration. They had a small wedding party (just one best man and one maid-of-honor), and the bride's son served as the ring bearer.

It was freezing outside - they were married last month in January when the weather was starting to get cold and there was even a little bit of snow on the ground - so we captured all the portraits inside the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Fortunately for us, the Ritz-Carlton is such a beautiful venue that we were able to find very pretty spots for their bride and groom portraits.

I loved so many special moments of this St. Louis wedding. Stephanie's mother has passed away, so in her honor, they placed a photo of her in the front row. The bouquet also had a picture of her mom, and she wore a ring from her great-grandmother. These little details were so special.

One of my favorite moments of the day was when Stephanie and her six-year-old son, Christopher shared a first look. He cried upon seeing his mom, which just warmed my heart so much! During the wedding ceremony, Brent also said vows to her son, and then they hugged. SO special!

They had the wedding ceremony and reception at the Solarium in the Ritz-Carlton, which had a dark and old greenhouse vibe. The bride's bouquet was made of greenery, and they had green centerpieces on the table. It was perfect for a winter wedding in St. Louis, MO!

Congratulations to Stephanie and Brent!
