I love all these winter engagement sessions I've been photographing these last few months. The days have been shorter, most of them are cloudy and overcast, which adds an atmospheric feel to all these beautiful St. Louis engagement sessions. Winter sessions can be cold, but they haven't been completely miserable this year. I keep my couples moving, and they are so in love that they often don't notice the cooler temperatures. I don't mind the cloudy days either - they give such a cool ambiance to these photos.
I'm photographing Amy and Nick's engagement session in October, and they wanted a winter engagement session. What better place than the Grand Basin at Forest Park, which has plenty of stone and architecture for some perfect winter engagement photos.
